This is a zipped DVD, so after you download and extract it, you can either burn the VIDEO_TS folder onto a DVD and play it on any ol' DVD player or open the VIDEO_TS.IFO file on any program that can play DVDs (I find that it works best with Window Media Player)

This is a DVD titled "Musical Cartography" that I, Marvin Choi, made for my VIS 111 class at UCSD. It was a project that attempted to outline the significance of musical development and its social impact on different social scales, starting from the entire world, then the American west coast, then the community of La Jolla and UCSD, then a spot at Pacific Beach, then a person's mind. Each level is represented by a different filmic medium, starting very structurally and then moving towards more abstract styles.
The style of the menus were shamelessly stolen from k-os' "¿publicity stunt?” DVD. Each menu page holds two films which are each accompanied by their own notes in extremely low resolution, symbolic of my lack of dependence on these specific notes to begin with. All films were created using Adobe Premiere 7.0 and the DVD itself was compiled using Adobe Encore 2.0.
