Kris Allen - No Boundaries

Ice Blues is a 2008 gay-themed mystery television movie. Don Strachey is the gay private eye who scored a hit in Stevenson's thriller, On the Other Hand, Death.
A case of murder keeps Strachey and his lover, Timmy Callahan, at home in Albany during a fierce winter because the victim was planted in the detective's car. The dead man, Jack Lenihan, had left a letter in which he asked Strachey to deliver 2.5 million in laundered money to the city's reform political party. But the money has vanished, sending Strachey on a dangerous errand to recover it from merciless killers. Suspecting that Lenihan had stolen the fortune from the drug dealers who were his former associates, Strachey flies to Los Angeles to question Lenihan's mother and friends, a mission with stunning results. Back in Albany, the detective hijacks the millions but the thieves kidnap and hold Timmy for ransom, a situation Strachey resolves in an act daring to the point of foolhardiness. This scene, as well as the disposition of Lenihan's legacy, form the climax of an entirely unpredictable, witty and raunchy adventure.

Two girlfriends on a summer holiday in Spain become enamored with the same painter, unaware that his ex-wife, with whom he has a tempestuous relationship, is about to re-enter the picture.

A career-best performance from Scarlett Johansson, a wickedly entertaining turn from Penelope Cruz, and the absolute revelation that is Rebecca Hall form a great cast along with Javier Bardem in a role that may surprise the majority of the American public (well, for most of the movie, anyway). You can feel Allen's mark on their mannerisms, but they all seem to disappear into these characters, that's how good they are.

An excellent movie that many will enjoy...

The plot is nicely complicated and twisted. There is also a good love triangle mixed in with the mystery but I don't want to give away too much. It has a different sort of feel than most movies with teenagers and twenty-something actors. The lead actor Erik Allen is drop dead gorgeous and intriguing. Can't wait to see more of him. Eye candy. Definitely fun. Some cool Midwest locations. Some great scenes at this famous old amusement park Arnolds Park...

This is an overall fun movie...

In the end, Dylan, a 17yo boy who can turn invisible Summer, a 16yo girl with telekinetic powers Tucker, a 12yo boy with the power to enlarge any part of his body Cindy, a 6-year-old girl with super strength. Kevin Zegers plays Concussion in this superheroes movie.
