Synopsis: Another surreal and outré film by maverick Japanese director Takashi Miike. When senior yakuza Ozaki (Sho Aikawa) starts to behave in an increasingly peculiar manner, his superiors start getting worried, and order Ozaki's immediate underling Minami (Hideki Sone) to get rid of him. On the way to the yakuza disposal dump, Minami, nervous about the job ahead of him, hits the brakes too hard and kills Ozaki completely by accident. After he stops to find a telephone to report the incident to his boss, he returns to the car to find that Ozaki's body has vanished. So begins a desperate and increasingly un-hinged search that takes in a bizarre array of eccentric and deranged suburbanites, each of whom seems to reflect some weird, dark aspect of Minami's complex and troubled personality.

A Girls high school swimming team is having a competition. Aki persuades her friend, Sayaka, to join the swimming team. However, a mysterious virus is spreading through out the school.
After Aki discovers the incident and tries to tell other people, she is killed. The swimming team takes up the challenge to cope with it and begins the fierce battle.

Onechanbara, a movie adaptation of the popular Japanese game published by D3. This is a pretty short movie running approximately 80 minutes. The plot is simple, it's about a girl, in a bikini, with a cowboy hat, killing zombies with a katana as she is looking to for revenge against her sister Saki. And right there, the plot already differs from the actual game.Saki in the movie, is the antagonist instead of being by Aya's side, kicking zombie asses with Aya.

Necessary Evil is a intelligent, thought-provoking supernatural thriller. Loaded with subtext and connect-the-dots plotting - the film almost requires a second viewing. The story begins in 1957 in the star-filled skies above California's Mojave Desert. It is a special night for noted astronomer Ted Lewis, who is preparing a special dinner for his beautiful, adoring wife Lana to celebrate their wedding anniversary. In another part of town, Tammy, a waitress at small local diner with big plans for the future, looks out her window and is excited to see a shooting star, which she takes as a good sign for her dreams. But, what Dr. Lewis and Tammy assume is a shooting star, is really an alien spaceship. The fiery ball hurtles toward earth and crash-lands on a butte in the desert. The only witnesses are teens Dick and Penny who are necking in a nearby lover's lane. A tall, metallic alien named Urp emerges from the craft unharmed, alarmed to discover that the monstrous Ghota, who was also on board, has escaped. The menacing one-eyed creature's unquenchable appetite could mean the end of civilization as we know it. Urp is the only one who knows how to stop the hideous extra-terrestrial, but to do so he has to take over the body of Dr. Lewis and enlist the aid of Tammy, the only human in town willing to believe and trust in his mission. The local police - including Chief Dawson and Officer Vern - are confirmed skeptics and offer little help. Together, Urp and Tammy must hunt down the Ghota and neutralize it before it consumes all the local inhabitants and uses the human fuel to multiply and conquer the world!

Alien Trespass is a perfect movie for both young and old. You won't see any nudity or hear any cussing - just a smart, clever script and a well-done storyline. A great sci-fi ride in a time machine. It's really a classic from the 50's (back to the future) and who knows - maybe it even could have happened . . .

HANGER is a horrifying tale of revenge that begins with a back-alley abortion, and ends with a bloodbath…

Mother nature has a dark side... A married couple barely able to hide their contempt for each other, Peter (James Caviezel) and Carla (Claudia Karvan) embark on a camping vacation over a holiday weekend to make use of the expensive gear Peter purchased, much to his wife's disgust. Heading off into the wilds of Australia, the couple bickers and stews in the hostile mood. While finding the campsite tricky to find, the pair finally arrive and hope to make the most out of the situation through ocean play, sunbathing, and outdoor cooking. Stomping around nature, Peter and Carla's tactless ways raise the ire of the local wildlife, which torture the duo with strange occurrences and vicious attacks. Eager to bolt once the reality of violence sets in, the couple furiously tries to abandon the campsite, but nature has other plans for hapless pair...
It's a tour de force for the two actors, which are quite alone in the movie except for the other character, which will be Mother Nature. And a very wicked character she is... And why is this a great little movie? It's a low-budget low-profile movie that's just creepy and engaging, and has an eerie feel to it that is just to the point. Any of you city-slickers thinking about going out camping in the long weekend to a secluded beach? Well, don't mess with Nature or else... I did appreciate a movie that's about Nature's revenge without being too eco-conscious, and where in the end all serious wrong being done is done by humans. And all those bits left unexplained, instead of making you feel cheated, are just very intelligent and create a quasi-supernatural feel that's partly "Picnic at Hanging Rock", partly "The Birds", partly "Blair With Project"... 'Long Weekend' is engaging and very scary in a non-conventional way. Some of the images will stick with you for a long time - I had no idea of what a dudong was, but now they scare the hell out of me! Isn't that enough for having a great time watching this?

another movie that is rated R for terror violence/gore and language with '3rd Rocker' Joseph Gordon-Levitt: H20 is a fantastic popcorn horror flick to simply be enjoyed by those that love a fun time. The slash is back, the gore is good, the creepiness is a bit lacking, but not so bad in and of itself. And the ending is THE BEST for the series to date (excluding Halloween the original of course). They should have stuck with the ending of H20 rather than go on to make Resurrection with some ridiculous plot to return Michael Myers. Finally a good sequel that adds up to its forerunner, holding scares, cleverness, and a sense of humor. Even if there are false alarms to spare and too many endings, it satisfies by setting high hopes for anyone that doesn't want a sequel. Terrific performance by Curtis!!!
